• Candidate will take a proctored CVICU exam and interview with the manager via Zoom prior to offer Type of Specialty: CVICU within a mixed medical-surgical unit # beds/rooms: 16 Average # or providers in the clinic/day : 1 cardiothoracic surgeon, 1 CTS PA Average # of patients/day: 1 cardiac surgery patient, 12 additional general med-surg ICU patients Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Common diagnosis/Types of Patients: Mitral/aortic/tricuspid valve replacements, CABG, AAA repair Experience or "Must have" skills: Recent & proficiency in immediate post-op cardiac surgery recovery.
