• Equipment: Impella, Balloon pump and ECMO/Tandem Heart, Ceiling lifts, Hoyer lifts, Sit-to-stand lifts, extensive safe-patient handling equipment.
• EHR: Cerner
• Patient Population: Adult, Geriatric

• Common Diagnosis/Treatment: 8 beds are CICU & 12 beds are Step-Down; CICU includes post-op CABG, AVR, MVR, vascular and endovascular surgery, ECMO, heart failure with Impella, angioplasty, stent placement. PCU includes diagnoses like sepsis, respiratory failure, multi-system failure, diabetic ketoacidosis, encephalopathy, post-op general surgical patients requiring higher care.
