Job summary

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA seeks a travel nurse RN CVICU in Fort Worth, TX for a 13-week assignment. You will cover CVICU cases, manage vents, lines and chest tubes, and support hemodynamic monitoring in a high-acuity environment.

The role requires 2+ years of critical care experience, LVN equipment handling, and CVICU familiarity. You’ll rotate through related ICUs while weekends involve two shifts biweekly with no call. Travel benefits and comprehensive support are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of critical care experience in adult ICU/CVICU.
• Ventilator, arterial/central line and chest tube management skills.
• CVICU specific skills preferred (CABG recovery, CRRT, Impella).
• Meditech experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform hemodynamic monitoring (Swan-Ganz, art lines, chest tubes) and patient care.
• Float to Medical ICU, Neuro Surgical ICU and Cardiac PCU as needed.
• Deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced CVICU setting.

Job Description & Requirements

• Specialty: CVICU
• Discipline: RN
• Duration: 13 weeks
• 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12 hours, nights
• Employment Type: Travel

Must have:

• 2 years of critical care experience. (adult ICU, CVICU, Neuro ICU any Critical Care specialty)
• Ventilator experience, Art/Central line/Chest tube management skills

Preferred:

• CVICU specific, CABG recovery, CRRT, Impella
• Meditech experience
• BSN, CCRN

Typical procedures performed:

• Hemodynamic monitoring, Swan Ganz, Art lines, Chest tubes

Float areas:

• Medical ICU, Neuro Surgical ICU, Cardiac PCU
