Qualifications

• 2+ years of critical care experience (adult ICU/CVICU/CCU).
• Ventilator, central line and chest tube management skills.
• Active RN license with ICU experience; 12-hour night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive CVICU nursing care and monitoring for complex patients.
• Administer medications, manage lines and tubes, and respond to emergencies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient outcomes.

Tell us about the unit(s):

• Number of Beds - 16
• Number of Staff – 45
• Type of staff: All RN
• Day Shift – 1 CNC and 2:1 nurse to patient ratio
• Night Shift - 1 CNC and 2:1 nurse to patient ratio
• Patient Ratios – 2:1; ( 2 patients : 1 RN)
• Type of equipment – GE monitors, EV 1000, Hemispheres, CRRT (NextStage), Implella, Swan Ganz, Art lines, Chest tubes, vents
• EMR - Meditech

Must have

• 2 years of critical care experience. (adult ICU, CVICU, Neuro ICU any Critical Care specialty)
• Ventilator experience, Art/Central line/Chest tube management skills

Preferred or nice to have

• CVICU specific, CABG recovery, CRRT, Impella
• Meditech experience
• BSN, CCRN
