TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Clinic for an immediate travel opening in Chicago, IL. This role requires 1 year of clinic/outpatient RN experience, a current BLS, and Illinois licensure eligibility.

You will provide outpatient nursing care, support physicians, and ensure safe, efficient clinic operations while meeting performance standards in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of RN experience in a clinic or outpatient setting.
• Current BLS certification.
• Eligibility for state licensure in Illinois.
• Additional certifications may be required before starting.

Responsibilities

• Take patient histories, vital signs, and perform assessments.
• Administer medications, injections, and vaccinations as ordered.
• Assist providers with minor procedures and diagnostic testing.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and preventive care.
• Perform wound care and basic lab work, including specimen collection.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate concerns to providers.
• Document nursing care and patient interactions accurately.
• Coordinate patient flow and ensure exam rooms are clean and stocked.

Job Description & Requirements

We're looking for Registered Nurses (RNs) for an immediate travel opening in Chicago, IL.
The right RN should have 1 year of experience in a Clinic or Outpatient setting. Read below for more requirements.

As an RN in a Clinic, you will provide nursing care and support to patients receiving outpatient services. You'll work closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare staff to ensure efficient, safe, and compassionate care.

As an RN, you should be prepared to perform the following tasks:

• Take patient histories, vital signs, and perform assessments
• Administer medications, injections, and vaccinations as ordered
• Assist providers with minor procedures and diagnostic testing
• Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and preventive care
• Perform wound care and basic lab work, including specimen collection
