Are you seeking an exciting Home Care Nurse experience in Canada's remote northern communities? Bayshore HealthCare’s Northern Staffing program has provided high-quality community health care solutions to Canada's North since 1997. Our Healthcare Professionals work closely with diverse Indigenous communities (First Nations, Inuit, and Métis), providing care to community members. We hire passionate team members from all over Canada who travel on assignments to remote northern communities in British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario, Yukon, Northwest Territories, and Nunavut. We offer a unique opportunity to expand your clinical scope of practice while experiencing an adventure! Average assignment durations vary from 2 to 6 weeks.

The work you will do:

  1. Visit homes and long-term care facilities to treat residents as needed.
  2. Monitor, follow up, and treat stable conditions in-home on a daily or weekly basis.
  3. Conduct in-home assessments and provide ongoing care for patients unable to visit clinics.

Who You Are:

  • You are a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and hold a valid nursing license in good standing.
  • You are a licensed Nurse registered in good standing.
  • You have or are willing to obtain a nursing license in the province or territory where you wish to work.
  • You meet the required work experience.
  • Mandatory skillsets and additional training requirements will be discussed during the interview.
