Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a travel assignment in Glendale, CA. You will perform diagnostic tests, prepare radiopharmaceuticals, and operate high‑level imaging equipment to capture quality images for interpretation by physicians.

Qualifications

• Level I & II requirements under state licensing/education standards
• Graduate of AMA approved Nuclear Medicine Technology training program or meets state requirements
• Level II position requires at least two years of experience in Nuclear Medicine
• May hold CNMT certification and can supervise Level I technologists
• CPR current; TB screening or chest X-ray; health certificate per contract or regulation
• Must meet federal, state and local requirements; must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• Performs tests for patient diagnosis, progress or deterioration and medical research
• Prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals to patients
• Operates high‑level imaging equipment to record images of radioactive material in the patient’s body
• Collaborates with physicians to provide images for interpretation and diagnosis
• Assists in a variety of technical tasks involving radioactive materials and measurement instrumentation
