Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a travel assignment in Hackettstown, NJ. The role requires CNMT or ARRT(N) certification, an active NJ license, and at least 1 year of Nuclear Medicine experience.

Typical duties include performing and documenting imaging procedures, operating imaging equipment, and administering radiopharmaceuticals. The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule, 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, with no calls and no weekend shifts, during a 13-week

Qualifications

• Active certification in Nuclear Medicine: ARRT(N) or CNMT.
• Current NJ State License for Nuclear Medicine.
• BLS certification.
• 1+ year of Nuclear Medicine experience.
• Experience with bone, hepatobiliary, lung and thyroid scans preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and document all nuclear medicine imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment safely and efficiently.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals, monitor patient reactions, and uphold safety protocols.
• Accurately position patients and explain procedures to ensure comfort and optimal imaging results.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals by providing clear, timely reports and clinical input to facilitate comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain patient records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and departmental policies.
