Qualifikationen

• Level I & II
• AMA approved Nuclear Medicine Technology training and/or meets state educational/licensing standards
• Level II position requires at least two years in Nuclear Medicine
• CNMT certification or equivalent may be held and used
• One–two years supervisory or Team Lead experience
• Must meet professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB/PPD or chest X-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate per contract/state regulation
• Must meet federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years old

Aufgaben

• Performs tests for diagnosis, progress or deterioration and medical research.
• Prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals and uses imaging equipment to record images.
• Collaborates with physicians to provide images for interpretation.
• Administers radiation doses when prescribed by a physician.
• Engages in technical tasks with radioactive materials and measurement instrumentation.
