Job summary

Amergis is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a travel assignment in Concord, NH. The role involves performing diagnostic tests, preparing radiopharmaceuticals, and operating high-level imaging equipment to capture images for physician interpretation.

Ideal candidates will have AMA-approved training, Level II experience, and may hold CNMT certification. Supervisory experience and relevant certifications are a plus. Competitive weekly pay and full benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Nuclear Medicine Technology training program and/or meets state required education/licensing standards
• Level II requires at least two years of experience in Nuclear Medicine
• May hold CNMT certification and may oversee Level 1 technologists
• One–two years of supervisory or team lead experience
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire/PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate per contract or state regulation
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• The Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs tests for patient diagnosis, progress or deterioration and medical research
• Prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals to patients as indicated and uses imaging equipment to record images
• Collaborates with physicians to provide images for interpretation to study and diagnose conditions
• Administers radiation doses to patients as prescribed by a physician
• Performs various technical tasks involving radioactive materials and measurement instrumentation
