Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Toms River, NJ. The role involves preparing radiopharmaceuticals, operating imaging equipment, ensuring radiation safety, and delivering high-quality patient care.

Start ASAP with 24 hours weekly, 8-hour day shifts, in a travel setting. The ideal candidate has one year of Nuclear Medicine Tech experience, a current Nuclear Medicine Technologist/Radiography license, and a BLS certification.

Qualifications

• One year's experience as a Nuclear Medicine Tech.
• Current Nuclear Medicine Technologist/Radiography license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
• CNMT or ARRT certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Educates patients about nuclear medicine procedures and addresses questions.
• Maintains and inspects nuclear medicine equipment for proper functioning and safety compliance.
• Prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals and other meds per protocols.
• Monitors patients for adverse reactions to radiopharmaceuticals and other medications.
• Operates imaging equipment to capture diagnostic images as ordered by physicians.
• Documents procedure details in patient records for continuity of care.
• Adheres to hospital safety rules and radiation protection standards.
• Performs other duties within Nuclear Medicine Technologist practice.
