Job summary

Voca Healthcare seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Scottsdale, AZ. The position requires 40 hours per week, with 5×8-hour shifts, Monday–Friday, start mid-November.

Responsibilities include preparing radiopharmaceuticals, operating imaging equipment, and ensuring radiation safety. Arizona CNMT and NMTCB/ARRT(N) certifications are required, with BLS on hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nuclear medicine program.
• NMTCB or ARRT(N) certification.
• Arizona CNMT certification before start date.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire, valid for at least 90 days from the start date.
• Maintain BLS competency.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, handle, and administer radioactive isotopes and radiopharmaceuticals.
• Operate nuclear imaging equipment to obtain diagnostic-quality images.
• Perform nuclear medicine procedures for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.
• Maintain radiation safety standards and ARRA records.
• Assess patients according to age-specific needs and developmental stages.
• Monitor ECG readings and recognize abnormal rhythms or patterns.
• Coordinate patient flow and collaborate with radiologists, cardiologists, and other healthcare professionals.

Education
