Medpro Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist for an exciting travel allied job in Austin, TX.

Position Details
  • Shift: 5x8 hr days
  • Start Date: 05/19/2025
  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • Pay: $2547/week
Requirements
  • Graduate from an AMA-approved school for Nuclear Medicine Technology
  • At least 18 months of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience, preferably in a critical care setting
  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
  • Weekly pay with direct deposit

Duties and Responsibilities

The primary role of the Nuclear Medicine Technologist is to prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and other medications to patients.

  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals and medications for imaging and therapeutic procedures
  • Process data and enhance digital images using advanced computer technology
  • Provide images, data analysis, and patient information for diagnostic or therapeutic purposes
  • Evaluate image quality and calibrate instrumentation
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines
  • Deliver high-quality, cost-effective patient care professionally
  • Maintain a patient-focused environment providing timely and compassionate care
  • Promote a safe work environment following national patient safety initiatives
