Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Bozeman, MT. The position requires 1 year of experience, BLS, ARRT (N), NMTCB-CNMT, and state licensing where required.

Shifts are 8 hours with rotating coverage, totaling 40 hours per week. The NMT will perform procedures under radiologist supervision, operate scanners, ensure radiation safety, and maintain patient records using McKesson PACS.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience required.
• BLS, ARRT (N), NMTCB-CNMT, and state licensing as applicable.
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Attain required approval and signature by nuclear medicine physicians.
• Transfer, position, and instruct patients in preparation for procedures.
• Operate the scanner or gamma scintillation camera.
• Perform procedures including injecting radiopharmaceuticals under the direct supervision of a radiologist.
• Provide assistance to patients during procedures.
• Ensure the environment is safe for patients and staff by following safety and radiation disposal procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system.

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a travel job in Bozeman, Montana.

We are looking for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) for an immediate travel opening in Bozeman, MT. The right NMT must have 1 year of experience. Read below for additional requirements.

Tasks

As an NMT, you should be prepared to perform the following tasks:

• Attain required approval and signature by nuclear medicine physicians
• Transfer, position, and instruct patients in preparation for procedures
• Operate the scanner or gamma scintillation camera.
• Perform procedures including injecting radiopharmaceuticals under the direct supervision of a radiologist
• Provide assistance to patients during procedures
• Ensure the environment is safe at all times for patients and staff by following safety and radiation disposal procedures
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system

Requirements

Must have 1 year of experience. Must have BLS, ARRT (N) National Certification with registration in Nuclear Medicine or NMTCB-CNMT, and state-specific licensing when required.

NMTs should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean or stoop without difficulty. NMTs must have a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.
