TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week assignment in San Antonio, Texas. The right NMT must have 1 year of experience. Read below for additional requirements.

As an Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will prepare radiopharmaceuticals, administer them to patients, and use imaging equipment to capture images while ensuring safety and proper documentation. The role requires 12-hour day shifts and travel employment.

Qualifikationen

• Must have 1 year of experience in nuclear medicine.
• BLS, ARRT (N) or NMTCB-CNMT certification with registration.
• State licensing as required for practice.

Aufgaben

• Attain required approval by nuclear medicine physicians.
• Position patients and instruct for procedures.
• Operate the scanner or gamma camera.
• Inject radiopharmaceuticals under radiologist supervision.
• Assist patients during procedures.
• Follow safety and radiation disposal procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system.
