Job summary

Wellspring Nurse Source is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a travel assignment in Bozeman, Montana. The role involves performing general nuclear medicine examinations, including on-call services, PET/CT exams, and related QC in an acute care setting.

The position requires ARRT NM or NMTCB certification, CAHEA-accredited education, and BLS, with preference for 1 year of post-graduate experience.

Qualifications

Graduate of an Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA) accredited program or equivalent.
ARRT certification in nuclear medicine or NMTCB.
AHA BLS certification.
Preferred: 1 year of post-graduate experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.

Responsibilities

Perform nuclear medicine quality control measures, patient exams, and procedures as requested by the medical staff.
Assist Radiologists and other medical staff during exams and procedures.
Complete ancillary duties required to maintain proper distribution, billing, and archival of exams and procedures.
Document essential information necessary for interpretation, reporting, archiving, and retrieval of exams.
Verify written/electronic orders and health information to ensure timely performance and reporting of NM exams and procedures.
Participate in the implementation, monitoring, and improvement of hospital quality indicators as outlined in the strategic plan.
Complete documentation concerning the administration, receipt/return, decay, and disposal of radioactive materials in compliance with regulations.
