Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a travel assignment in Morgantown, West Virginia. The position is a day shift, 40 hours per week, for 13 weeks, with rotating call and Cerner charting.

Requirements include a minimum of 1 year of experience, current BLS certification, and CNMT and ARRT(N) certifications preferred, with license as required. First-time travelers are welcomed, and housing stipends plus benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• CNMT and ARRT(N) certifications preferred; license if applicable.
• Cerner charting experience required.
• Skills in bone scans, SPECT imaging, thyroid studies, renal studies, myocardial perfusion studies, and other nuclear medicine procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform a range of nuclear medicine procedures including bone, brain, liver, renal, cardiac, and pulmonary imaging studies.
• Draw venous blood and start/maintain IVs.
• Safely store, handle, and dispose of radioactive materials.
• Work in a Nuclear Medicine department with 5x8 day shift; rotate call.
