Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week assignment in South Charleston, West Virginia. The NMT will prepare radiopharmaceuticals, perform injections, operate gamma cameras, and support physicians in imaging procedures.

Candidates must have ARRT(N), NMTCB-CNMT, BLS, and 1 year of experience; licensing where required. The role requires standing for long periods, attention to safety, and familiarity with PACS systems such as McKesson.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience required.
• ARRT (N) and NMTCB-CNMT certifications required.
• BLS certification required; licensing where required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare radiopharmaceuticals and administer them to patients.
• Position patients and instruct them for procedures.
• Operate scanner or gamma camera for imaging.
• Perform procedures under radiologist supervision.
• Maintain patient records and ensure safety protocols.
• Follow radiation safety and disposal procedures.
• Use McKesson PACS system.
