Job summary

Soliant Health is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Winter Haven, Florida. This role involves 4x10-hour shifts, performing diagnostic nuclear medicine and PET/CT procedures, and adhering to radiation safety standards while collaborating with radiologists and the healthcare team.

The position requires CNMT or ARRT(N) certification, a Florida license, and at least 1 year of acute care experience, with a travel-focused, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Valid and active FL state license for Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• Completion of ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification.
• Current BLS certification.
• At least one year of experience in an acute care setting.
• Strong technical knowledge in nuclear medicine and PET/CT procedures.
• Commitment to excellent patient care and strong communication skills.
• Willingness to adapt and float to different units if needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine and PET/CT procedures with accuracy and efficiency.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and radiation protection standards.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other team members, ensuring transparent patient care.
• Calibrate and operate sophisticated imaging equipment, troubleshooting as necessary.
• Maintain meticulous records and accurate patient documentation in accordance with clinical policies.
• Demonstrate flexibility and readiness to float to other areas as needed to support department operations.
