Job summary

Soliant Health seeks a skilled Nuclear Medicine/PET-CT Technologist for a 13-week contract in Winter Haven, FL. The role sits in a dynamic imaging environment requiring a strong Nuclear Medicine background and collaborative patient care.

You will perform diagnostic nuclear medicine and PET/CT procedures with accuracy, adhere to radiation safety standards, calibrate equipment, and document patient records in line with clinical policies.

Qualifications

• Valid and active FL state license for Nuclear Medicine Technology
• Completion of ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification
• Current BLS certification
• At least one year of experience in an acute care setting
• Strong technical knowledge in nuclear medicine and PET/CT procedures
• Commitment to excellent patient care and strong communication skills
• Willingness to adapt and float to different units if needed

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine and PET/CT procedures with accuracy and efficiency
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and radiation protection standards
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other team members, ensuring transparent patient care
• Calibrate and operate sophisticated imaging equipment, troubleshooting as necessary
• Maintain meticulous records and accurate patient documentation in accordance with clinical policies
• Demonstrate flexibility and readiness to float to other areas as needed to support department operations
