Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Terre Haute, IN. This role requires 1 year of experience, BLS, and ARRT (N) or NMTCB-CNMT certification with state licensing as needed.

You will prepare radiopharmaceuticals, inject radiopharmaceuticals, and operate imaging equipment under radiologist supervision. Responsibilities include ensuring patient safety, assisting with procedures, and maintaining records while using the McKesson PACS system.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience.
• BLS and ARRT (N) or NMTCB-CNMT certification with state licensing where required.
• Ability to stand/walk long periods; strong knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Prepare radiopharmaceuticals and administer them to patients.
• Operate imaging equipment to capture nuclear medicine images.
• Assist physicians and radiologists during procedures.
• Maintain patient safety and radiation disposal procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and use PACS systems.
