Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a travel assignment in Columbus, GA. The right candidate will perform nuclear medicine procedures, operate scanners, and maintain patient safety under radiologist supervision.

Requirements include ARRT (N) or NMTCB-CNMT with BLS and at least 1 year of experience. This travel role offers 40 hours/week, 8-hour shifts, with potential tax-free stipends.

Qualifications

• 1 year of travel or clinical Nuclear Medicine experience.
• Active ARRT (N) or NMTCB-CNMT certification with state licensing as required.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Obtain physician approvals and sign-offs for procedures.
• Position patients and prep for studies.
• Operate nuclear medicine camera and gamma scanner.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals under radiologist supervision.
• Assist patients during procedures and ensure safety.
• Maintain accurate patient records and comply with radiation safety.
• Utilize McKesson PACS for image management.
