Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a travel assignment in Colorado Springs, CO. This 13-week position offers 40 hours per week with a daytime 10-hour shift.

Travel status requires proper nuclear medicine credentials and the ability to work under supervision. The NMT will prepare radiopharmaceuticals, operate scanners, and assist physicians, emphasizing safety, patient comfort, and accurate records.

Qualifications

• 1 year of clinical experience as an NMT.
• BLS certification required.
• ARRT (N) or NMTCB-CNMT certification and state licensing as applicable.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform procedures.

Responsibilities

• Position and instruct patients for procedures.
• Operate the nuclear medicine scanner.
• Inject radiopharmaceuticals under radiologist supervision.
• Maintain patient records.
• Follow radiation safety procedures.
• Provide patient comfort during procedures.
• Utilize McKesson PACS system.
