Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week assignment in San Antonio, TX. The role offers travel-friendly scheduling, weekend availability, and responsibilities in radiopharmaceutical preparation and imaging under physician orders.

You will work a 12-hour shift schedule, 36 hours per week, with comprehensive benefits and support from a dedicated clinical team. Eligibility includes one year of experience and current state licensure.

Qualifications

One year experience as a Nuclear Medicine Tech.
Current Nuclear Medicine Technologist/Radiography license in compliance with state regulations.
Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

Educates patients about nuclear medicine procedures and addresses questions.
Maintains and inspects nuclear medicine equipment for proper functioning and safety.
Prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals and other medications per protocols.
Monitors patients for adverse reactions and ensures safety.
Operates imaging equipment to create images per physician orders.
Documents procedure details in patient records for continuity of care.
Follows hospital safety rules and radiation safety procedures.
Performs other duties within Nuclear Medicine Technologist scope.
