Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Omaha, Nebraska. The role involves preparing radiopharmaceuticals, operating imaging equipment, and ensuring radiation safety while delivering patient-centered care.

This travel position offers 40 hours per week, dayshift, ASAP start, and requires current Nuclear Medicine Technologist license and BLS certification. Benefits and team support are highlighted in the posting.

Qualifications

• One year's experience as a Nuclear Medicine Tech.
• Current Nuclear Medicine Technologist/Radiography license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• English language proficiency and ability to read/write in English.

Responsibilities

• Educates patients about nuclear medicine procedures and addresses questions.
• Maintains and inspects nuclear medicine equipment for proper functioning and safety.
• Prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals and other medications per protocol.
• Monitors patients for adverse reactions and intervenes to ensure safety.
• Operates imaging equipment to create diagnostic images as ordered.
• Documents procedure details in patient records for continuity of care.
