American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to lead the rollout of a new PET/CT service line. The role requires 3+ years of management experience and 3+ years PET/CT experience, with BLS and NMT certifications, and a professional license if applicable.
The position follows a 26-week contract with standard day shifts, no weekend work, and oversight of hot-lab procedures under USP 825. Housing considerations are noted for eligible candidates.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in a management role.
- 3+ years of PET/CT experience, as technologist or in leadership.
- Knowledge of PET/CT rules and regulations is required.
- Experience with hot-lab procedures and USP 825 standards.
- New graduates will not be considered.
- License required if applicable.
Responsibilities
- Day shift, 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday.
- No weekend, holiday, floating, or on-call requirements.
- Lead implementation of a PET/CT service line.
- Oversee hot-lab procedures in compliance with USP 825.
- Transition from consultant to manager with one direct report.
- Scan patients as NMT and PET/CT Tech; manage PET/CT program rollout.
