Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with 1+ year of experience and ARRT(N) or CNMT certification for a travel assignment in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Licensure applies where required. The role operates in a hospital nuclear medicine department with strict safety protocol.

Shifts are 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, no weekends or calls. Siemens equipment and Epic EMR experience are essential. First-time travelers welcomed; housing and reimbursement support provided by the agency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
• ARRT(N) or CNMT certification required (license if applicable).
• Experience drawing venous blood.
• Proficiency with isolation precautions and PPE.
• Skilled in starting and maintaining IVs.
• Experience storing, handling, and disposing of radioactive materials.
• Lead experience required.

Responsibilities

• Nuclear Medicine department setting.
• 5x8 hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
• No weekends or call required.
• Uses Siemens equipment.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• Facility is closed on major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day) but open the days before and after if they fall on a weekday.
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position.
• Black scrubs required.
• Must be clean-shaven to achieve a proper mask seal for respirator fit testing; no medical or religious exemptions accepted.
• CAPRs and PAPRs are not provided, and candidates may not use personal CAPRs or PAPRs.
• Local candidates within 70 miles of the facility are not accepted.
