Fusion Medical Staffing seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Hartford, CT. The role focuses on preparing radiopharmaceuticals, operating imaging equipment, and ensuring patient safety in a fast-paced setting.

Required: 1 year of NM tech experience, valid NM/Radiography license, and BLS. Preferred: ARRT/CNMT certification. Travel benefits and competitive pay are included.

Qualifications

• One year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Tech is required.
• Current Nuclear Medicine Technologist/Radiography license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC) is required.

Responsabilités

• Educates patients about nuclear medicine procedures and answers questions.
• Maintains and inspects nuclear medicine equipment for proper function and safety.
• Prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals per established protocols and safety standards.
• Monitors patients for adverse reactions and intervenes to ensure safety.
• Operates imaging equipment to create organ/area images per physician orders.
• Documents procedure details in patient records for continuity of care.
