American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a day-shift assignment in California. The role requires at least 1 year of Nuclear Medicine experience, ARRT(N), CNMT, and BLS certifications, plus Epic EMR proficiency reflected in your work history.

The position features a day shift (Mon-Fri, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM) in a Nuclear Medicine department with shared standby coverage and travel considerations. Local candidates are welcome. RTO must be confirmed in writing at application.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Nuclear Medicine.
• ARRT(N), BLS, and CNMT certifications required.
• Epic EMR experience required and must be reflected in work history.
• Valid CA state license required if applicable.
• Two supervisor references required for consideration.
• Experience with isolation precautions/PPE, IV starts, and radioactive materials handling.

Responsabilités

• Nuclear Medicine department setting.
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
• Shared standby coverage with one other technologist, including every other weekend.
• Performs procedures such as HIDA scans, bone scans, lung scans, thyroid studies, myocardial and pharmacological stress tests, and ventilation/perfusion studies.
• Uses equipment from GE, Hitachi, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba.
• Responsible for performing diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures and maintaining compliance with radiation safety protocols.
• Must be gone a minimum of 1 year before returning as a traveler if previously employed at the facility.
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate.
• RTO must be confirmed in writing at time of application, with no RTO permitted within the first two weeks of the assignment.
• Prior travel experience preferred.
