Amergis Healthcare Staffing, Inc.-Allied seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 52-week travel assignment in Los Angeles, CA. The role features 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, and travel employment with weekly pay.

The technologist will perform diagnostic imaging, prepare radiopharmaceuticals, and work closely with physicians to provide quality results while adhering to safety standards and licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Nuclear Medicine Technology training program and/or meets all state required educational & licensing standards.
• Level II requires at least two years of Nuclear Medicine experience.
• CNMT certification may be held; may oversee Level 1 technologists.
• One–two years prior supervisory or Team Lead experience.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• Health certificate per contract or state regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsabilités

• Perform tests for patient diagnosis, progress or deterioration and medical research.
• Prepare and give radiopharmaceuticals to patients as indicated.
• Use high-level imaging equipment to record images of radioactive material.
• Collaborate with physicians to provide images for interpretation.
• Administer radiation doses to patients as prescribed by a physician.
• Follow safety and regulatory standards for handling radioactive materials.
