Job summary
Amergis Healthcare Staffing, Inc.-Allied is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 12-week assignment in Glendale, California. The role requires 40 hours per week with an 8-hour shift and travel employment type.
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs diagnostic tests, prepares radiopharmaceuticals and uses advanced imaging equipment in collaboration with physicians to support diagnosis and treatment decisions. Compliance with applicable standards is required.
Qualifications
- AMA approved Nuclear Medicine Technology training program completion or state licensing standards.
- Level II requires at least two years in Nuclear Medicine.
- CNMT certification preferred or required.
- Two years supervisory or team lead experience.
- CPR certification as applicable.
- Must meet federal/state/local requirements and be 18+.
Responsibilities
- Perform tests for patient diagnosis, progress or deterioration.
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals as indicated.
- Operate high-level imaging equipment and record images.
- Collaborate with physicians for image interpretation.
- Adhere to safety and regulatory standards.
