Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 26-week assignment in Boston, MA. The role involves preparing radiopharmaceuticals, operating imaging equipment, and ensuring radiation safety while delivering high-quality patient care.

The candidate should have at least 1 year of experience, a current NM tech license, and BLS certification. ARRT/CNMT preferred. Travel bonuses and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• One year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Tech.
• Current Nuclear Medicine Technologist/Radiography license in line with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Preferred: ARRT or CNMT certification.
• Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients about nuclear medicine procedures and answer questions.
• Inspect and maintain nuclear medicine equipment for proper function and safety compliance.
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals per established protocols.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and intervene as needed.
• Operate imaging equipment to capture diagnostic images as ordered.
• Document procedure details in patient records for continuity of care.
