TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Somerville, New Jersey. The role includes 40 hours per week with days shifts and requires 1 year of NMT experience, BLS, ARRT(N) NMTCB-CNMT, and state licensure when required.

As an NMT, you will perform procedures under supervision, manage patient prep, operate scanners, and maintain records while adhering to safety and radiation disposal procedures. Travel role with tax-free stipend TBD.

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a travel job in Somerville, New Jersey.

We are looking for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) for an immediate travel opening in Somerville, NJ. The right NMT must have 1 year of experience. Read below for additional requirements.

Tasks

As an NMT, you should be prepared to perform the following tasks:

• Attain required approval and signature by nuclear medicine physicians
• Transfer, position, and instruct patients in preparation for procedures
• Operate the scanner or gamma scintillation camera.
• Perform procedures including injecting radiopharmaceuticals under the direct supervision of a radiologist
• Provide assistance to patients during procedures
• Ensure the environment is safe at all times for patients and staff by following safety and radiation disposal procedures
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system

Requirements

Must have 1 year of experience. Must have BLS, ARRT (N) National Certification with registration in Nuclear Medicine or NMTCB-CNMT, and state-specific licensing when required.

NMTs should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean or stoop without difficulty. NMTs must have a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.
