Supplemental Health Care is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a contract assignment at a partnering hospital in Salem, Massachusetts. The Tech will prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and capture high-quality imaging studies for physicians.

The role requires 1–2 years of nuclear medicine experience, NMTCB or ARRT certification, BLS, and appropriate state licensure. The travel position spans 13 weeks with 40 hours/week and 8-hour days.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field is required.
• Certification from NMTCB (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board) or ARRT (N) required.
• State licensure (if applicable) may be required.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of recent nuclear medicine experience.
• Strong technical expertise, safety knowledge, and patient care focus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, calculate, and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic procedures.
• Operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment to capture accurate images.
• Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety and comfort.
• Analyze images and collaborate with physicians on diagnostic findings.
• Maintain compliance with radiation safety and regulatory standards.
• Document patient records, imaging results, and dosage information.
