Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Houston, TX. The role involves preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals, operating imaging equipment, and ensuring radiation safety across a 40-hour work week with 8-hour day shifts.

Requirements include at least 1 year of Nuclear Medicine Tech experience, current Nuclear Medicine Technologist/Radiography license, and BLS certification. ARRT/CNMT preferred.

Qualifications

• One year's experience as a Nuclear Medicine Tech.
• Current Nuclear Medicine Technologist/Radiography license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Educates patients about nuclear medicine procedures and addresses questions.
• Maintains and inspects nuclear medicine equipment for proper functioning and safety compliance.
• Prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals and other medications per established protocols.
• Monitors patients for adverse reactions and intervenes to ensure safety.
• Operates imaging equipment to capture diagnostic images as ordered by physicians.
• Documents procedure details in patient records for continuity of care.
• Follows radiation safety rules to minimize exposure.
• Performs other duties within Nuclear Medicine Technologist scope.
