Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a contract assignment in Avon, Indiana. The role involves preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals and imaging procedures across a 13-week travel assignment.

The position requires AMA-approved nuclear medicine training, ARRT registry, and 18 months of related experience, with a 10-hour day shift and 48 hours per week. Travel reimbursement and housing support are provided.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved school for Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• Eighteen months of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
• Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).

Responsibilities

• Administer radiopharmaceuticals and medications for patient imaging and therapeutic procedures.
• Process data and enhance digital images using advanced computer technology.
• Provide images, data analyses and patient information for diagnostic interpretation or therapeutic procedures.
• Evaluate images to determine the technical quality and calibration of instrumentation.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
• Deliver high-quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Maintain a safe, patient-focused environment with timely, compassionate care.
• Promote and maintain safety for staff and patients abiding by national patient safety initiatives.
