The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will prepare radiopharmaceuticals, operate imaging equipment, monitor safety, and ensure compliance with radiation standards while delivering accurate diagnostic results.

Qualifikationen

• One year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Tech.
• Current Nuclear Medicine Technologist/Radiography license per state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Preferred: ARRT or CNMT certification or CNMT.

Aufgaben

• Educates patients about nuclear medicine procedures.
• Maintains and inspects nuclear medicine equipment; reports malfunctions and ensures safety.
• Prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals per established safety protocols.
• Monitors patients for adverse reactions and intervenes as needed.
• Operates imaging equipment to capture diagnostic images per physician orders.
• Documents procedure details in patient records for continuity of care.
• Follows hospital safety rules and radiation procedures to minimize exposure.
• Performs other duties within Nuclear Medicine Technologist scope.
