Job summary

Siemens Healthineers, in Falls Church, VA, seeks a Travel PET/CT Technologist for a 13-week onsite contract. The role combines PET and CT imaging with direct collaboration with radiologists to ensure precise studies across clinical settings.

Travel is required to support client healthcare systems. The candidate will bring ARRT Nuclear Medicine certification, a valid license, and at least 2 years of PET/CT experience, working Monday through Friday with Siemens Biograph equipment.

Qualifications

• Active ARRT certification in Nuclear Medicine and a valid Nuclear Medicine license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of PET/CT experience in the modality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for PET/CT imaging procedures.
• Operate PET/CT scanners to capture high-quality images.
• Monitor patients for comfort and safety during procedures.
• Evaluate image quality and alignment of PET/CT datasets.
• Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians for accurate interpretation.
• Maintain radiation safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
• Perform daily QC and maintenance on PET/CT equipment.

About Your Role

As a Travel PET/CT Technologist, you will deliver advanced diagnostic imaging services by combining Positron Emission Tomography (PET) with Computed Tomography (CT) technology. You'll collaborate closely with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure accurate image acquisition, patient safety, and diagnostic precision in a variety of clinical settings.
