Job summary

Siemens Healthineers is seeking a Travel- Nuclear Medicine PET Technologist to support our Falls Church client. This onsite contract assignment runs 13 weeks with potential for extension and requires PET/CT expertise.

Candidates must have ARRT certification in Nuclear Medicine, a Nuclear Medicine license, BLS, and at least 2 years of PET/CT experience. Responsibilities include preparing radiopharmaceuticals and operating PET/CT scanners in clinical settings.

Qualifications

• Active ARRT certification and Nuclear Medicine license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Minimum 2 years of PET/CT experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for PET/CT imaging procedures.
• Operate PET/CT scanners to capture high-quality functional and anatomical images.
• Monitor patients for comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
• Evaluate image quality and verify alignment between PET and CT datasets.
• Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians to support accurate diagnostic interpretation.
• Maintain strict adherence to radiation safety protocols and regulatory guidelines.
• Perform daily quality control and maintenance on PET/CT equipment.
