Job summary

Siemens Healthineers is seeking a Travel Nuclear Medicine PET Technologist for a 13-week onsite contract in Durham, NC. The role requires active NMTCB/ARRT (N) certification, a Nuclear Medicine license, BLS, and at least two years of PET experience.

You will operate GE Discovery PET/CT scanners, deliver radiopharmaceuticals, and ensure patient safety throughout imaging procedures. Compensation includes a weekly gross of $3,000 with benefits eligibility.

Qualifications

• Active NMTCB/ARRT (N) certification and Nuclear Medicine license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Minimum 2 years of PET experience within modality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for PET/CT imaging procedures.
• Operate PET/CT scanners to capture high-quality functional and anatomical images.
• Monitor patients for comfort and safety during procedures.
• Evaluate image quality and alignment between PET and CT datasets.
• Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians for accurate interpretation.
• Maintain radiation safety protocols and regulatory guidelines.
• Perform daily quality control and maintenance on PET/CT equipment.

About Your Role

As a Travel PET/CT Technologist, you will deliver advanced diagnostic imaging services by combining Positron Emission Tomography (PET) with Computed Tomography (CT) technology. You'll collaborate closely with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure accurate image acquisition, patient safety, and diagnostic precision in a variety of clinical settings.
