Job summary

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a Travel Nurse RN in Webster, Texas for NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care. This 13-week assignment requires 36 hours per week with 12-hour night shifts. Required: BLS and NRP certifications, strong NICU skills including NG/OG care, medication administration, and lab draws.

Preference for experience with ETT, Vent, cooling; travel experience encouraged. Floating to Mother Baby as needed, collaborating in a high‑performing team.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate safe medication administration with dose calculations.
• Proficient in EMB using the five patient rights and proper handling.
• Care for NICU patients including NG/OG tubes and CPAP/Nasal Cannula care.
• Experience with PIVs, PICCs, UAC/UVC lines and lab draws.
• Willingness to float to Mother Baby as assigned; team player with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform typical NICU procedures including intubations, UAC/UVC placement and eye exams.
• Administer medications accurately and monitor patients with CPAP/High Flow support.
• Care for preterm infants, monitor NAS scores, and escalate concerns promptly.
• Assist with bedside procedures such as PICC placement and lab draws as needed.
• Collaborate with OT/ST for feeding plans and ensure safe patient handling at all times.
