Job summary

TotalMed RN in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit travel nurse for a 13-week assignment starting 09/28/2026. This RN will work 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, providing critical care to sick and premature infants in NICU, and will support families during hospitalization.

Candidates should have 1–2 years of recent acute care experience and current BLS/NRP certifications. The role includes monitoring infants, assisting with feedings and IVs, and operating NICU equipment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience (NICU preferred).
• BLS and NRP certifications are required.
• Arizona RN license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Travel nurse position requires 13-week assignment, 36 hours/week, and 12-hour night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Care for ill and premature infants transitioning to extra-uterine life.
• Monitor vital signs and initiate corrective actions as needed.
• Provide nutritional assessment and specialized feedings.
