Job summary

TotalMed RN seeks a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) travel nurse for an assignment in Aurora, Colorado. This position offers a 36-hour work week with 12-hour night shifts, and requires a travel status.

The NICU RN will care for sick and premature infants, monitor vitals, and support families. Required are BLS, NRP, and 1–2 years of acute care experience.

This role is part of a broader TotalMed RN staffing effort delivering high-quality neonatal care across facilities.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years' recent acute care experience.
• BLS, NRP, 2 Years

Responsibilities

• Care for sick and premature infants in the NICU.
• Monitor vital signs and initiate corrective action as needed.
• Provide nutritional assessment and specialized feedings.
• Change dressings, insert catheters, start IVs.
• Provide arterial and intravenous therapy.
• Monitor and adjust incubators and ventilators used on patients.
