TotalMed RN seeks a travel nurse RN specializing in NICU for a 12-week assignment in Denver, Colorado. The travel RN will work 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours weekly, with requirements including 1–2 years of acute care experience and BLS/NRP certifications.

The role involves direct neonatal critical care, parental support, and rapid response to changing patient conditions. As a NICU Travel Nurse, you’ll care for premature or ill infants, monitor equipment, and collaborate with the care team.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years' recent acute care experience.
• BLS and NRP certifications required.
• 12-week travel assignment in Denver, CO.

Responsibilities

• Care for infants transitioning to extrauterine life.
• Monitor vital signs and initiate corrective actions as needed.
• Provide nutritional assessment and specialized feedings.
• Change dressings, insert catheters, start IVs.
• Provide arterial and intravenous therapy.
• Monitor and adjust equipment such as incubators and ventilators.
