Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel NICU RN for a 13-week assignment in Philadelphia, PA. The RN will provide specialized care to critically ill and premature neonates in a NICU, operating with 12-hour nights and a 36-hour weekly schedule.

Qualifications

• One year of NICU nursing experience or more.
• Current RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor critically ill and premature newborns.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per neonatal nursing techniques.
• Operate NICU equipment (ventilators, CPAP, infusion pumps) and manage care.
• Educate and support parents on neonatal care and feeding techniques.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans with the multidisciplinary team.
• Follow infection control protocols and hospital safety standards.
