Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a 26-week assignment in Charlottesville, Virginia. This role features 36 hours per week with 12-hour night shifts, delivering specialized care to neonates in a NICU setting.

Requirements include one year NICU experience, an active RN license, BLS and NRP certifications. Preferred certifications include RNC-NIC, PALS or ENPC.

Qualifications

• One year of recent NICU RN experience required.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS and NRP certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor critically ill or premature newborns.
• Administer prescribed NICU medications and treatments.
• Operate NICU equipment and assist with procedures.
• Educate and support families on neonatal care.
• Develop individualized care plans with the team.
• Adhere to infection control and regulatory standards.
