Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Midlothian, VA. The role runs for 13 weeks with 36 hours per week, night shifts, and travel employment. Immediate opening with 1–2 years acute care experience and NICU certification requirements.

Includes comprehensive benefits and weekly pay. As a NICU RN, you will care for sick or premature infants, monitor vitals, support families, and operate NICU equipment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of recent acute care experience
• BLS and NRP certifications required; additional certifications may be required

Responsibilities

• Care for newborns transitioning to extrauterine life.
• Monitor vital signs and initiate corrective actions as needed.
• Provide nutritional assessment and specialized feedings.
• Change dressings, insert catheters, start IVs.
• Provide arterial and intravenous therapy.
• Monitor and adjust incubators, ventilators and other equipment.
