Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care travel nurse for a Columbus, OH assignment. This role runs 36 hours per week on a night shift, with a typical 13-week duration and travel status.

Immediate needs require 1-2 years of acute care RN experience and appropriate NICU credentials. As part of the NICU team, you will monitor sick and premature infants, provide critical care, support families, and operate NICU equipment such as incubators and ventilators, while collaborating with

• BLS and NRP certifications required.
• 2 years of NICU or acute care RN experience.
• Travel nursing assignment for Columbus, OH.

Responsibilities

• Care for neonates in NICU, monitor vital signs and initiate corrective actions.
• Provide nutritional assessments and specialized feedings.
• Change dressings, insert catheters, start IVs.
• Provide arterial and intravenous therapy.
• Monitor and adjust NICU equipment such as incubators and ventilators.
• Support parents with education and emotional guidance.
