Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel NICU RN for a 13-week assignment in Livingston, NJ. This role offers 40 hours weekly with nights shift and distinct opportunities to impact critically ill newborns while joining a dedicated clinical team.

The ideal candidate has NICU RN experience, NJ RN license, and current BLS/NRP certifications. Travel benefits and competitive pay are provided.

Qualifications

• One year of recent NICU RN experience.
• Active RN license in NJ and in good standing.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• Current NRP certification.

Responsibilities

• Monitor critically ill and premature neonates; document conditions and responses.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per neonatal nursing protocols.
• Operate and manage NICU equipment including ventilators, CPAP, infusion pumps.
• Assist with life-saving/neonatal procedures (e.g., umbilical access, intubation).
• Educate and support parents on neonatal care and feeding techniques.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans with the care team.
