Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Greenville, South Carolina. This 13-week assignment requires 36 hours per week with 12-hour night shifts, in a travel role. BLS, NRP, STABLE and 2 years of acute care experience are required.

The RN will care for sick or premature infants and support families. Additional NICU responsibilities include monitoring, feeding, and equipment management.

Qualifications

• BLS, NRP, STABLE certifications required.
• 2 years of recent acute care experience.
• Active RN licensure is required for assignment.

Responsibilities

• Care for neonates transitioning to extrauterine life.
• Monitor vital signs and initiate corrective action.
• Provide nutritional assessment and specialized feedings.
• Change dressings, insert catheters, start IVs.
• Operate and monitor NICU equipment such as incubators and ventilators.
• Assist with parental support and discharge planning.
